When I insert the probe 3 or 4 inch to the soil, all readings come out and test data is very useful. There is a button at the back, I can use it to switch between PH and Temperature.

Like many people who have reviewed this product, I have found this item to be inaccurate. In pH mode, reading tap water in a glass, the unit says it’s dry (wtf) water dry??? Not heard of that before, I was wondering why when I showed I didn’t need to dry myself, lmaoBut seriously, don’t bother with this item, it’s a waist of money!!!

The temperature measurement is accurate enough, however the light, pH and moisture measurements are not accurate or consistent at all.The pH meter in particular is useless as it will not read below pH 7.0I do not recommend this item at all, I chose to take a gamble with a cheap product for a tester and it didn't pay off. I will be replacing this with something capable of performing the functions it claims to have.

this equipment is easy to use but very inaccurate in all readings except temperature. It says dry when the soil is soaking wet, the Ph reading is low compared to other testers, the light meter says normal in bright full sunshine and the battery indicator tell me it is flat with a fully charged battery. I would not recommend this unit, perhaps I got a bad one but.................
