Palm Size Pocket Rocket!
This light really is a palm sized spotlight just like it says on the box, I own many lights(20+) from different brands but this one really caught me by surprise. The size and its throw capability I believe this light MH20GT is underrated for its throw, compared to some of my other lights that I've measured, this lights throw distance is around 400-420 meter of beam distance. Other then that this light has so many pluses compared to other lights I've purchased before, it has a led for checking the voltage of the battery very awesome so you know how much juice you have left, the charging capability and its small size, the 5 modes and the very easy interface. This has become my new edc(replacing my ea11) and is my new favorite light. Definetly pick it up if you're on the fence of purchasing this light. This bundle I BOUGHT was great price point wise considering it came with a 18650 3400 mah nitecore battery, a charging usb dock, two 16340 eastshine batteries and two 18650 plastic cases for holding spare batteries, also the mini usb charging cable is included with the flashlight. Everything came neatly packaged in one box, first purchase from eastshine will definetly buy from them again.

Excellent long range flashlight
This is my first Nitecore flashlight. I have a collection of Olights, Zebralights, Eagletac, etc, but wanted a long throw. This is excellent for the purpose. I am really surprised how good the beam is - a perfectly circular approx 80 degree spill with a small hot spot about 5 degrees that is good for hundreds of yards. Note that you wouldn't typically get this for your first 18650 flashlight - you want something with a general purpose beam - unless you really only need one to illuminate long distances. This one is bigger than some of my others - slightly longer and 1/4" fatter at the head and is a bit big for an EDC, but I think it is the best compromise to get long distance in a small package. You can get an extra 100 yards out of the High Capacity Bundle with Flip-to-side Diffuser: Nitecore MH27 1000 Lumens Rechargeable Tactical LED Flashlight, 3400 mAh 18650 Battery and Charging Adapters, but with an extra 1.5" in length and 0.25" in width. The user interface (UI) is excellent. There are two detents - generally you press all the way down to turn on or off, or press half way to choose the mode, with submodes to start in the lowest or highest mode directly. I also like the clip since it can be used both directions so you can attach the light to a hat brim to use as a headlamp.I got the version with two 16340 batteries since I already have enough 18650 batteries and needed some 16340 for other torches. You need an 18650 for this light, though. The 16340s that comes with this bundle provide only 1400mah total - you would much rather have a 3400mah 18650. Plus, the flashlight will only charge 18650 batteries.Get a good quality 3400mah version (better yet, two, for those long weekends!) by a reputable brand like Nitecore, Orbtronic ,Eagletac, Zebralight, Olight, Fenix - whatever is cheapest since all these have a Panasonic or Sanyo cell inside with a protection circuit shrink wrapped to it. Don't buy from disreputable distributors that inflate the mAh by 3x or more (cough- those with Sun or Fire in the name- cough.) You can actually use unprotected cells in good quality flashlights since they have good regulation, and save a lot of money, but get protected cells anyway.

WOW!!!
Ive had the MH20GT for 3 days. There is only one word to describe the GT. . . WOW! ! ! OH MY GOD! ! ! HOLY SH**!!! WTF!!! This thing is incredible. And bright! As a 67 year old male, I can't remember the last time I had so much fun with a flashlight. I've had it for 3 days and I've played with it constantly. Day time inside, night time outside . Remember when you were a kid and your Dad would let you play with the flashlight and you would walk around shining it on everything....because you could!!! That's what I'm doing now. This thing is just fun! I also have the original MH20.Instead of boring you with all the technical stuff concerning the GT (you can find that all over the internet), I want to give you a quick comparison of the new GT and the original 20.Physically the two look identical with the GT just a tad longer in the reflector area. If you saw them in two different rooms you wouldn't know the difference. Switches are the same, as are the different levels of brightness and modes. The difference between the two is the beamshot and brightness. If you shine both lights on the wall about 5 feet away at the same brightness level, the GT footprint is smaller than the 20. It's about 2/3 the size of the 20. The GT hotspot is also proportionately smaller than the 20. The GT hotspot and flood are both sharper. The 20 looks softer...almost blurry. And the GT is brighter. Much brighter! The GT's smaller, sharper, and brighter beamshot translates into a longer, brighter throw. How far? I don't know. I just know it's farther than I can see clearly. How much brighter? As soon as you turn either one on, you'll know which one it is. And that holds true at every level of brightness. Not just turbo. I will say the GT is more of a spotlight and the 20 more of a floodlight. I love both. Right now I'm just enjoying the sheer raw power of the GT. I'm glad I have both because I would sure hate to decide which one to get if I could only have one. I guess it would come down to what I would use it for...more flood or more spot/distance...and price. Neither one will disappoint. In fact, the two are now my bff's....best flashlights forever!!!My overall thoughts (and this applies to both).Quality, size, brightness levels and sheer power are perfect for me. These are exciting flashlights....they're just fun!
