After shopping in person and trying one other order (arrived damaged, didn't work out, not sure how I would have liked it). Luckily, this is the one.My office chair gets so much use that I'd put off shopping for a new one for a while, despite badly needing it. Couldn't handle the pressure. If you're on the fence and want something basic and reliable, this is a solid option.This chair has a good adjustment range; goes pretty low, and up pretty high with a foot rest. It's all black and doesn't draw attention when it's tucked under the desk. None of the nylon backing that a lot of office chairs feature. It's comfortable, and seems like a good candidate to last twice as long as my previous chair, which went for five years, but barely. Happy with the purchase, and would repeat.

This chair is well built and is extremely sturdy. The seat mechanism is much beefier than other chairs in this price range from my experience.

I purchased this chair to use with my standing desk. The chair was pretty easy to put together - I was able to follow the diagram and assemble it in about a 1/2 hour. The height works fairly well for my desk, and seems to adjust easily. Initially I was confused by the forward angle of the seat, but realized that I could adjust it with one of the levers. The chair cushion is nice and thick and is pretty comfortable to sit on (I am able to sit for a few hours without issues.) The two things I don't like - first, I paid more for the larger footrest ring. The description stated that this was supposed to be 20" in diameter - in fact, it's only 18" making it useless for resting my feet on (I would have to bend my legs underneath the seat and hook them in the ring, which is uncomfortable.) I wound up taking it off completely and will use a separate footrest. Second, the fabric seat picks up lint, dog hair, dust, etc. and is not easy to brush off. And, the backing on the seat doesn't look promising as far as removal for reupholstering the seat. Overall, it's a decent chair, but I don't feel that it's worth $170, based on it's shortcomings.

Well made and has held up well after 2 years of use. Used at my electronics bench which is at drafting table height.

I purchased this chair to use at my snack bar. I have arthritis and severe back problems and my bar stools are heavy and difficult for me to handle. This chair was very easy to assemble and is so comfortable. The lumbar support makes it even better. The lifting and lowering mechanism is easy for me to adjust. Highly recommend.

My desk can be lowered or raised, and this comfortable chair can adjust. Easy to assemble and very comfortable for extended time. Easy to clean.

Wife loves it. Replaced an older chair that she had had for years. Uses it both as a desk chair and for painting on an easel

Assembly was fairly simple, it works for an occasional sitting chair but I wouldn't recommend it for sitting in for long periods of time
