Great taste easy to grow!
This was my first time ever sprouting broccoli but I am an expert at sprouting alfalfa. I was very impressed after growing these out. Tasted way better than I ever imagined. I grew some alfalfa side by side so I will compare them. I grew the vernal variety of alfalfa. The broccoli was done today, I think around 5 days but the alfalfa needs another day or two as there are still a few husks on them. I got over 99 percent of the husks off the broccoli after adding a little peroxide to the rinse water to bubble them off. I got around double the amount of alfalfa from the same amount of seed so these are twice as expensive. But they taste so good they are well worth the extra price over alfalfa. The way I sprout is in small tubs. I find this much better than using the traditional jars and it works much better if you want to grow a lot of them. After rinsing I pour the water through a strainer to keep the seeds from going down the drain. Then I cover them with a damp paper towel. The tub makes it easier to swish them around and keep them from tangling up. I find once that happens they are hard to get the husks off. It's also a lot easier to rinse off the husks using a tub because there is so much more room to work on them as opposed to being crammed in a jar. The ones that bubble off from the peroxide usually float and rinse off easy that way. The ones on the bottom I get rid of by scooping out the sprouts with my hand and transferring them to a colander, then rinsing out the tub and the sprouts in the colander. I usually go back and forth a few times on the final day between the colander and the tub. This was my first time in a few years of sprouting but I guess it's like riding a bicycle. I soaked and rinsed them in a 1 teaspoon per gallon of fulvic acid and water mixture instead of plain water. It made them taste better and supposedly increased the nutrition by leaps and bounds. I knew it would because I used it on tomatoes and they were out of this world. Even though this was my first time for broccoli I think I'm hooked on it and will probably be ordering the five pound bag really soon. Don't be afraid of peroxide I just pour in an ounce or two per gallon of water.. It's just water with an extra oxygen molecule and very healthy in small amounts. It's also used by commercial sprouters as is the tub method. I've never burned them with it and probably used many times over that on occasion. I find small dollar store sized tubs work very well for home use.UPDATE: I did some more searching and FOODS TO LIVE brand sells broccoli seeds considerably cheaper on Amazon once you go to a 5 pound bag. The reason I bought this brand was because it was the cheapest on one pound. FOODS TO LIVE also has organic seeds for sprouting though at the present time they cost 13 dollars more for the 5 pound bag. I may just go all out and give them a try. I'm not expecting much difference from one brand to another but if for some reason the other brand is no good I promise to update this review and let you guys know. Otherwise this will likely be my final update on this brand. In summary I'm glad I discovered how good broccoli sprouts are and that they are just as easy to sprout as alfalfa. Oh and another thing I used to do, if you don't care about being organic, was to use half a teaspoon of Miracle Gro for Tomatoes. It and peroxide really make those sprouts grow and shed their husks. That was of course before I went organic and sprung for the fulvic acid. Fulvic isn't so much a fertilizer as it is a trace mineral enhancer so don't expect the explosive growth you get from Miracle Gro. Till we meet again, HAPPY SPROUTING!

Very happy!
I'm on my fifth quart jar, and these seeds do great, and seems to be a decent value. Soak overnight, then drain and rinse twice a day, keeping the jar in the dark. When seeds are close, put them by a window to green up, then into the fridge, where they get a rinse every couple days until they are gone. They seem to keep pretty long! Delicious and so good for you!

A good experience as a first timer
This was my first time growing sprouts. I chose this brand because it was heirloom and no gmo. They also said it was organic when asked by a customer. I followed the directions on YouTube . There are no instructions on the bag on how to sprout seeds. In 6 days I got what you see in the pictures. It did smell like broccoli, but it wasn’t terrible. The sprouts were very tasty with salad dressing and tomatoes. I would say that 85% of the seeds sprouted! I was very pleased and would definitely recommend!

Bad seeds
The batch that I just bought in November 2021 was a bad batch. Most of the seeds were not viable. A few of them sprouted each time we tried, and the court jar was about a quarter full as opposed to entirely full. They also rot very quickly, some thing I have never experienced before with broccoli sprouts. A previous batch bought several years ago from this same company was 100% viable, which is why we purchased from them again. This time around the batch was a dud, and I returned them.

Great quality and quantity for price!
These seeds sprout quickly and my kids love them. The taste is a little strong for me but if you love broccoli this is a fun way to get lots of good nutrients in. Would purchase again, but honestly the bag will last us quite a while. Very happy for the quality and quantity for the price.
