works well in MBP 2011, installed in 2016.
Works great....excellent fit and it does exactly what it was intended for.I placed the 500gb Samsung 850 EVO SSD drive in it, no problems, screwed it in with perfect alignment and placed it in the CD drive bay on Macbook Pro early 2011 (installed this thing in Jan 2016) and it has been functioning really well since...significant speed improvement and more than doubled my storage space.
