I got this book to help me transition to a new way of eating. It was easy to follow and once I got the basic ingredients, meals were fun,easy and tasty.

Fun and exciting way to eat your way to good health
One of the better Keto cookbooks that I have read and it offers a wonderful selection of takes on everyday favourites that will appeal to the whole family [ even young fussy eaters.]Another thing that I particularly liked, was that the ingredients were regionally adaptable so even in my part of the world they will fit well into our menu selection. So often I find cookbooks from other regions don't easily adapt to changes when the listed ingredients are either unavailable here, or too expensive to try. Very few problems in this great book.I was very tempted by the Zesty Gingerbread Pancakes with Lemon Sauce, [just the right thing for some zing], [ or for a lazy week-end brunch,] Bacon Tomato Cups, [ that special dinner to relax ] Baked Salmon with Pestachio Crust, and a go with anything side of Bacon and Avocado salad.Many of these would be a tasty delight even for those not on Keto. I did find some ingredients that beginners should not be eating every day in great amounts but in these recipies the amounts were small and not widely used. I didn't change my 5 star rating because I feel most people will research Keto carefully and become aware of the vegetables and fruits to avoid or use sparingly. I also felt some ratios were more balanced to a long term Keto user when liberties can be taken. An all round helpful intro with encouragement to take the step to find a health lifestyle.Yes ***** from me, a great book for any Keto user. ? Where was the pumpkin in the Cheese and Pumpkin Chicken Meatballs ?

Good reference for anyone on a keto diet!
Although this cookbook bills itself as being "for beginners," it's a good reference for anyone at any stage of keto dieting. The overview at the beginning of the book is brief and simple, certainly enough to get you started. As my household has been keto for the last two years, we got this book for the sheer volume of recipes it contains. We're always looking for new and different recipes to try and when we get a gem we add it to our regular rotation. There are definitely a few gems here! The rating could have been 5-stars had there been photographs of at least some of the dishes and if the book were better organized. It also would have benefitted from a careful review from an editor to correct inconsistencies, misspellings, and grammar issues. These are common mistakes for a self-published book and I've definitely seen worse! Despite this, the Keto Diet Cookbook for Beginners is definitely worth having and a good value for the money.

Not sure what to think yet - more to come
I have yet to actually cook a recipe from this book but what I can see thus far is as follows:1) No pictures in the book. It will be hard to tell whether the final product is going to look like a work of art or a child's fingerpainting exercise2) There are many typos in this book - clearly no one proofread this or used spell check. For example - what is supposed to be Ginger & Walnut Porridge is actually made with Giger. What is supposed to be a Hamburger Steak appears to be a dish from Eastern Europe (Hamburg Steak).3) There are recipes that she indicates will serve 4 but there is no mention of how many pieces of something are in a serving. May seem obvious but - do not want to overeat something that I should not4) There are phantom amounts of ingredients. In other words - you are to use ___ tsp of butter - how many. Should I go with what's behind curtain #1 or should I make a deal? This goes to my original point (see #2 re: Proofreading)5) What is also troublesome - is that we all have been cheated. There are not 550 recipes in this book - there are in fact 549. How do I know this you say - because there are 2 recipes for Smoked Ham and Egg Muffins. One uses the word AND and one uses the every difficult to draw &.With all of this being said - I am starting this modified, net carb, incomplete cooking extravaganza in the coming days. I will return with more witty banter on the outcome of my dishes.

The whole family has already chosen favorites!
When I began browsing this cookbook, I kept thinking about how much I thought my family could enjoy the meals. Sometimes they get a bit growly about my "healthy" meals. So, I let them each look at several of the recipes I had chosen to try over the next week, and my darling teenagers agreed with most of the things I was interested in trying and even suggested a few more they wanted to try. Today I had the Black Currant Iced Tea' a very flavorful change of pace, and Caesar Salad with Chicken and Parmesan for lunch. I wasn't sure I would like the salad since it calls for Bok Choy instead of Romaine lettuce, but it was delicious and very filling. If every recipe turns out as well as these two, I will be using this cookbook on a regular basis. The boys asked for Jamaican Pork Oven Roast tomorrow, and I am going to try the Chicken Stroganoff on Thursday because it goes in the Crock-Pot, and that day is near impossible for us all to sit and eat together. Hopefully, this will be a delicious way to fuel us all when we have a moment in our packed schedule. My calendar has recipe names on it for the next two weeks worth of dinner, and I didn't even have to choose them all on my own. I love that the recipes appeal to my whole family!

Great for keto beginners!
I’ve been wanting to try the keto diet for a while, but I’ve been too nervous to start. I didn’t know what I’d cook and I thought I’d need special skills. This book solves that problem. There are a ton of really satisfying recipes in here. It feels like the perfect introduction to the keto diet concept and foods. All the recipes are easy to understand and easy to follow. There’ such a wonderful variety of ingredients in this book. There are things I’ve wanted to try for years—lamb and duck, for example—but I’ve never found even a small collection of recipes for them that appealed to me. There’s definitely something for everyone in here, adventurous types and kids and picky eaters and folks who don’t “diet.” I can see myself using this cookbook even when I entertain and when I cook for my family. I cannot wait to try everything in it!

Perfecto libro para empezar Keto
acaba de llegar y me encantó! Es la mejor forma de empezar en el camino Keto, la introducción explica súper bien el proceso, no solo se concentra en qué evitar sino en la variedad de cosas que sí y sus beneficios; también tiene un ejemplo de un plan de 14 días con todas las comidas y a partir de ese es facilisimo crear las propias variantes!Sus recetas son sencillas, con ingredientes super accesibles y rápidas de ejecutar, no neccesitan planeación de horas o dias mas allá de las compras y con un mismo ingrediente (pollo por ejemplo) puedes preparar distintos platillos si haces preparación de comida semanal .Es tan fácil que en que lo hojeaba Preparé el morning Berrie-green smoothie y el late de cúrcuma que está para despertar contenta diario!!Definitivamente lo recomiendo y sugiero que no se dejen llevar por la falta de color en el formato, lo compensa totalmente con la cantidad y calidad de las recetas

Well organised and easy to use cookbook
I am a very passionate fan of dieting and I have always been mad about how I look so I got this cookbook. It is really well organized, it is separated into different sections, which makes it very easy to use. It is stacked with plenty of recipes for all tastes and all are prepared in no-time and the ingredients are very affordable. It also gives a 14-day meal plan for people struggling with weight loss. I have been using this plan for several days now and I can tell that I have some slight reduction of weight and I feel more energized during the day even without eating much carbs. This means that it is very well thought out on how to fulfill everyday needs. It’s great, it’s not only a cookbook but a manual that gives a clear idea of what a keto diet is and how it contributes to weight loss.

Excellent cookbook
This book and the recipes are different. A lot of other cookbooks have more or less the same recipes. This is special and I love it. Finally I found the ONE and I highly recommend it.
