ZHOL® Blue LED Lighted Umbrella

Pros: The switch on the black hilt allows you to see various color (red, blue, green, pink, and so on) on/off when you repetitiously press it over and over. Faster opener when there's sudden snow/hail/rain "You press one switch theres color;press it again and its off." Second, it has the usual standard wrist adjuster that commonly most umbrellas have so you have no worries about your umbrella flying off your hands during heavy-turbulent weather. Has for the size, it is reasonable enough to escort at least 2 people into the vehicle. Another thing this umbrella can do is help you guide people and the driver (or potentially guide airplanes nearby to land) nearby to know that you have a beacon to illuminate the dusk night that covers the entire area in your field. This is also perfect for whacking people in the open when for example that the criminal is harassing the victim and imagine you draw out a katana!!Cons: This doesn't have the gripper when you hold the umbrella open in which some stainless steel umbrellas have. The reason i gave 4 stars is because the carrier has lost my first package and i've been waiting for few months!! But since I contacted and communicated my seller about the problem, the seller has kindly apologize for the delay and has shipped from Singapore to me in another month than 2/3 months of waiting so I finally got it!

This is a VERY cool umbrella. The picture really doesn't give it proper justice. It will cycle through different colors (many color options actually) and will continuously change colors if you set it so.I would point out that if you tap the tip of the umbrella on the ground (say, to get the water off), you'll turn it on. Nice feature but tapping it again does not turn it off. Just be aware that you'll kill the batteries if you tap and forget.Second is the suggested batteries. It takes Triple A batteries (AAA). Takes 3 of them. They're used in small alarm clocks typically. I'm saying this because Amazon (and a few others) have said it takes a totally different battery and it does not. Just AAA x 3. Can get them just about anywhere.

In reality, the shaft is not as brightly lit as it appears in the product photo. There are no LED's in the visible portion of the shaft...that section is fiber optic.WARNING: DO NOT buy batteries for this until AFTER you receive it. The one I purchased, specified button batteries. When I received the umbrella, I discovered it takes regular AAA batteries instead. BATTERIES CANNOT BE RETURNED TO AMAZON.I would buy one again, but I would wait to see what type of batteries it takes.

I haven't owned an umbrella since I was a child. Living in California we don't have much need for these things. With El Nino hitting us this year I thought it would be a good time to finally get one! With that being said, I am totally happy with this umbrella. Good price and surprisingly good build on this product. The shaft is not super bright so don't be expecting to send light signals during the day but at night time it's quite visible. I like the flashlight in the handle too.

It is a large umbrella, and seems sturdy. The light is bright and has a number of features. My girlfriend was delighted by it, but that had a lot to do with the fact that she happened to have the AA batteries required, which this says are included, and were not in the pacakge that I recieved. I would have bought it at this price either way, but it said it had batteries, and if had said batteries not included, I would've been sure to get some on my own to ensure that it was ready to go when she opened. Besides that disappointment, it's a hunky dory.

My son absolutely loves his umbrella. The best part was the different colors. I ordered a blue, but if you push the on button more than once, other colors turn on. Eventually, you will get it flashing all of the colors together. It's pretty cool. I would've given 5 stars but the photo is deceptive as it is nowhere near that bright. As for it's actual function as an umbrella - no complaints. It's a great size and keeps us dry.

This is cool, has a built in flashlight on the bottom, the led rod actually has multiple color settings, it's cool but you have to repeatedly press the button to cycle thru and get the color you want (unless you aren't picky) it lights up blue, green, red, pinkish, light blue, and has a like rainbow mode where the color changes. Would have been happy with just blue (bought it to keep in a custom blue lit interior car) but the color choice is cool too.

I adore my umbrella!!! Even though I can't use it during the day because it's bright out and no one can't see it turned on, the umbrella is very big and it keeps me dry. However at night that's when I have a little fun! I love the fact that you can press the button on the handle and change the color you want. It goes from blue to link to green to purple to green etc! There's an option if you want all the colors to change at the same time. However, since I'm more in the "darkside" I prefer to leave it on red!! Overall this is great buy!! I feel like a sith or sometimes a Jedi when I'm using it!

Can't tell you how much I love this umbrella. If you're a fan of Blade Runner you'll love it too. Battery change is super easy. The last umbrella I bought like this from another company died because I couldn't change the batteries. Also this one has neat colour changing abilities. Seems durable and is a good size. Perfect for late night walks in the city. Bought my husband one because he loves Blade Runner and had to buy another for me

Really makes user seen on dark rainy nights.
