I was REALLY hoping this smelled like the leave in plumping treatment, it does not. I can't speak to how well it protects your hair because I haven't been using it long enough but I will say I don't feel like it weighs my hair down or changes the texture. The smell doesn't linger for me thankfully but man I do wish it smelled like the leave in plumping treatment because I'm very sensitive to smells and this stuff does smell pretty awful. I love my leave in plumping treatment so I'll still give this a 5 because the smell dissipates.

As far as I can see it is a good product to protect hair

I love Kevin Murphy products, I use his Shampoos, conditioner as well as leave-in conditioner. This heat protectant product is lightweight, smells great and is easy to use! Highly recommend!

This was recommended by my hairdresser, and all I know is since using it I don’t have split ends, my hair does not feel weighed down, nor sticky or greasy. Some people don’t like the smell I love it!

This product is wonderful and never leaves my hair feeling heavy or greasy. Since using my hair is so much healthier with styling plus it smells amazing!

I loved the smell of this product, but it leaves my hair feeling stiff. I have only used it on my ends, as it feels too heavy closer to my roots. I have fine, dryer hair, but not thin hair. It’s just not my favorite product sadly.
