Portable and customizable
I use this notebook daily at work. I love that the pages can be moved at my ledger. I bought the dot grid insert for graphs and such as well.As an assistant I take furious notes and can do so without pause. After our meeting are complete, I can readjust the pages to the correct tab.Great color, great size for portability, and incredibly useful.

The Perfect Notebook
I just love having a great notebook and this one is the one. I can remove pages and move them around if needed. IT's a nice cover that looks nice to carry around. When it's open it lies flat so I can write on either side of the page. There a few folders with tabs included as well so you can create sections. It's great! Wish I had come across this a long time ago.

Filofax A5 Notebook
In considering the purchase of any "notebook," I believe that one should first think of how it is to be used. For me, this would be a most welcome companion in business meetings, in taking class notes, etc., when taking the notes and then organizing them is important. The fold flat feature is great in these examples as well, as the work space is uncrowded as a result. My usage is in research for my writing. There are often several elements to a story, and the Filofax is as good as any for keeping separate issues separate, and then collating all in a first draft. Really love this notebook in this usage, and I mention it only as an illustration of another practical use.The elastic band that secures the cover fits neatly into notches at the top and bottom of the front cover. This feature keeps the notebook a bit neater in appearance, and probably makes the closure somewhat more secure. Nice feature.Filofax makes a good selection of refills available. I won't be using the blank sheets as my handwriting is atrocious, but it is nice for those less cursed than I. I do like the graph sheets, and will use one graph refill to perhaps eight or ten of the lined refills. Those who use more diagrams or take scientific or mathematical notes will appreciate the graph paper. As to the minuses, the paper is not as friendly toward fountain pens as others in that wet inks will not dry quickly if that is an issue. Gels and, naturally, ballpoint inks are just fine, but there are many less expensive papers that will perform as well with these.I cannot imagine journaling with this notebook. I never remove pages from my journal. In this case, one of the great conveniences of the D-punched movable sheets would make no sense.Bottom line is that for my intended use, this notebook is great. Those whose use may be similar will find the Filofax A5 Notebook a useful tool. To me, it is just that: Strictly business. For my personal thoughts and inspired moments, it can never replace my Midoris.

Awesome little notebook - just wish the refills were cheaper
Really happy with this, and I’m SUPER picky about my notebooks. It’s thin and lightweight enough to carry with you, and the dividers are perfect for sorting notes by topic, then adding/removing as needed. Which is key - most notepads I either clutter up with junk notes and can never find the one I’m looking for, or I get too precious about keeping them ‘dedicated’ to a particular topic and then they quit being useful. This is perfect bc you can always just grab it to take notes on a blank page, then move it where you want it - or toss it - later. I just wish the refills were more in line with the pricing of normal A5 paper - the 100# is very nice, and if you’re picky about your paper you’ll be pleased, but for genera everyday notes I’m fine with the cheap stuff. Have debated buying one of those hole punches with the slot like these have and doing my own.

The blue is 'Tardis' Blue for you Whovian fans :)
First of all, the notebook overall is FANTASTIC mostly because it's refillable, cheap and the pages, indexes, ruler, etc. all easily move around. HOWEVER, be careful what refills you buy - this is the Filofax NOTEBOOK (8 holes) not the ORGANIZER (6 holes) see pic I posted of the, ahem, wrong paper :| Now the fun part *spoilers* The blue is an exact Tardis Blue! Only a Whovian can appreciate this. I wanted a River Song looking notebook for...um...well, my D&D game, ha-ha. I know, I know...don't mix your genres! Anyway, Etsy has a ton but a)EXPENSIVE! b)not refillable (usually) and c)EXPENSIVE. I had resigned myself to just a plain, boring, refillable notebook when I stumbled on this color and inspiration struck! I made a River-Song-Diary template using an image from the web and my Cricut, sponge painted over the template, and VOILA! River Song Notebook! Win-win for this happy camper.

This notebook is the best!
For the price, this is the absolute best pocket notebook. I never enjoyed writing until now; always been a keyboard guy (fastest hands in the west, ker-pow).Amazing quality paper, reorganizable, pocket size, excellent quality all around. So good!

Meh...
I guess I'm not the target audience for this notebook. I didn't like how thick the paper was, I didn't like how thin the book was, meaning you had a limited amount of pages you could put in.I actually sort of liked the faux-leather cover, so I tried removing the guts and punching and using my own paper, but that lasted only so long before I started feeling squeezed in.Too claustrophobic for my taste.
