The best product as a Pro that I've used!
Prep, Prep Prep!! I noticed a few YouTube videos on how to apply this product, and noticed they all spend more time prepping the surfaces then actually performing the work. I purchased two kits and on the first kit, I rushed to do the work as the instructions suggest, but did it rather quickly because I wanted to see the outcome. BIG MISTAKE.Take your time with this product, and let the machine (if your using one) do the buffing, dont press hard, and take your time. Once I' applied each step (and took 30 minutes per step), the outcome was emaculatant! You have to think at an atomic level, what this product is doing is removing the oxidized plastic, layer by layer. If you 'push hard' and try to scrub it off, you're creating an uneven look which will show.Your best bet is to apply light, consistent passes for each phase. I promise if you trust the process, take your time, you'll have brand new headlights (like I had!!)

Excellent Product!
Works great! 2016 Honda CRV - followed instructions using the included sanding discs (500, 800, 3000, Foam w/rubbing compound). In hind-sight I could have skipped the course 500-disc and started with the 800 first - just depends on how much damage there is on your headlight lenses and how (deep) much damaged material has to be removed. You'll need to supply a drill, spray-bottle of water, paper-towels and some shop (buffing) towels. If your headlights aren't to bad - just start with the foam wheel and rubbing compound first, it might be all you need. The kit included enough of the rubbing compound to allow for several passes over both headlights. I used a small cordless drill and it worked just fine.

Relatively easy to use and generally works fine but requires precision from first time users
Relatively easy to use and generally works fine but requires precision from first time users. I got 80-90% of opacity out of my old fogged up lenses but operator error perhaps left some areas less than perfect. I’ll likely have to repeat the process soon on the remaining 10-20% areas to make it perfect. Users should follow the printed directions very carefully to yield best results.

Enhanced Night Vision with LED Headlights Upgrade
Driving in the rain at night with my newer truck was a nightmare - I could barely see the road due to the poor visibility. After a friend suggested trying a specific product along with adding LED lights, I decided to give it a shot. The transformation was unbelievable! The difference in the brightness and clarity of the headlights before and after the upgrade was like night and day, no pun intended.I was amazed by the drastic improvement in visibility, especially after replacing both the headlights and fog lights with LED options. Now, my '03 Ford F150 feels like a brand new truck, and I couldn't be happier with the results. If you're looking to enhance your driving experience, I highly recommend investing in LED lights for your vehicle.

Night and Day difference!!
This was a newer truck for me. This was the first time driving any distance with the truck and a night. It was raining and I could NOT see the lines. No, not blind or hard of seeing! Once I got out of the storm I could see the road a little better. I looked at my headlights when I got home.. I knew they were colored, but not the extent of not seeing the road.I was telling a friend about my adventure. They recommended this product plus add LED lights. I wished I had the pictures to show you how much better the headlights look now from then. When you hear the phrase, different as night and day... pfft... it's beyond that. After I did one headlight, I took it out at night.. It's crazy the difference it made (this is before I replace my lights with LED). With both cleaned and new LED light.. Well, I am one happy induvial. The truck is an '03 Ford F150. It's like I'm driving a new truck. After I did the headlights I did the fog lights.

Does not include tape!
This is not the first time I have used the 3M brand kit to restore headlights and every other kit included the tape needed to mask around the headlight. Judging by the pictures in the description all it says is you need a drill, it doesn't mention that you need to purchase tape and Amazon does not even show an option on this page for the type of tape you need to mask off your car. I ended up using blue painters tape, and unfortunately when I remove the tape after a very short period of time it peeled off some of my paint, now I have another repair to make.Overall, I am happy with the results achieved using the tools, but the kit did not include an even amount of the different grit sanding papers and I found that frustrating. I'm disappointed with the 3M quality control in the quantity and count of sanding grits, and also that on the back of the package it states that the tape *might* be included. Of course it wasn't. Make sure you purchase tape! Make sure you avoid any defects in the paint of your car with the tape or it will pull off your paint.

Worked perfectly
Product worked perfectly. This was my first time trying something like this. I’m happy with the result. I would say- use a wider tape when taping off around the headlight. I did double width of the tape I had and it wasn’t enough in some spots and the drill pad liked finding the seams and pulling the tape up. Also, it says to clean up right after. Definitely do that. It was about to rain so I thought it’d let the rain handle it. It didn’t work and the slurry splatters are still on my car.
