So happy with this privacy film! Easy to install!
I was a bit skeptical about these when I read some of the reviews that said this was hard to apply, but I figured for $10 bucks a pop, I would give it a try. The quality of this vinyl is very good. The vinyl is much thicker than I expected, and the pattern is actually textured onto the vinyl. I have two large windows on my back doors, and I have had a neighbor snooping around behind my house, so it was time do to something. This was easier to install and more affordable than blinds or curtains. I followed the directions carefully, which included removing the protective plastic sheet from the inside of the film, cleaning the window very well beforehand, and using water spray on both the vinyl and the window before applying. This process was very easy, but do it when you have time to be patient. My tips for installation.* I had also purchased a special felt squeegee kit (HTVRONT brand) for about $9 with sprayer bottle and exacto knives to help with the installation, and that made it much easier--worth the money to get that. I know some others have mentioned using a credit card as a squeegee, but I think it would be more difficult considering the textured pattern on the vinyl.*Measure the window to determine the size you need and then cut the vinyl before removing the protective film. My only complaint about this product is that there are no gridlines on the back to facilitate straight line cutting.*If the vinyl isn't where you want it to be, you can reposition if you have used a lot of water, and if not, remove it, add more water, and reapply.*Use a lot of water spray on the window and on the decal. If you have a decent squeegee, and I found this worked great with a felt squeegee, you will remove all the excess water. Once the vinyl was positioned where I wanted it on the glass, I spent a lot of time squeegeeing from the center of the vinyl to the outside, and then I would use a towel to wipe away the water that came out from the sides. In this way, I was able to remove ALL bubbles under the vinyl. It takes a bit of time but it totally worth it.*Before you finish squeegeeing, try looking at the vinyl in different lights and angles so you can find any bubbles you didn't see initially. Then squeegee them out. From start to finish, including measuring and cutting, it took me about 45 minutes to install these on the two windows. Several days later, even with crazy temperature variations outside, it is stuck fast with no peeling or bubbling and looks fantastic. What I like the most about this privacy solution is that if I change my mind about having that window covered at another time, I could easily remove the film.Highly recommended.

Amazing product for the price. Works at blocking out the sun and reflective for privacy
Ha I g done research on a lot of tints I decided to try this one based on other reviews of this product. We needed something for our sliding glass doors on our back to help with the sun shining into our house. This tint is absolutely amazing. Usually it’s the one area where my cats love to lay in the sun but because this tint helps so much there isn’t any sun for the cats to lay in. It’s like it’s completely shaded. It helps with the cost of electricity aswell. From the outside of the house all you see it’s reflection. Even when the light is on inside you can not see inside the house. The shipping was fast and it’s easy to read the directions to put up. I would recommend 4 hands are better than one when putting this up. It was easier to have one person peels the plastic back while the other aligns it unless you’re doing small windows.

Only 36% UV reduction
Installation was conceptually easy. For larger windows it helped a lot to have a second person. The end result looks very nice. The marketing claims that it reduces 90% of UV light. That sounded way too good to be true. So, I measured it myself. I found a 36% reduction, at least in the 405 nm +/- 3% range. This range is important for those working with UV-curing resins.

Easy to apply and works great.
Works great..!Definitely helps keep the temp lower.I live that I am able to have privacy but still be able to look out the window. That’s important to me.Peels easily and it’s easy to apply, make sure window is clean and wet when applying. It's lightweight and the color was as described. The only downside is that it doesn’t provide privacy at night when the lights are on. You can see through if the light is on, so keep that in mind. Still, it’s a great solution for daytime privacy.

Perfection!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:This product worked wonders to block out some sun/heat blaring into my kitchen window in the afternoon. It immediately helped cool down the kitchen. Word of advice, use VERY soapy water. It will make installation a breeze!

Very nice!
Works great! We put it in our small window next to the main door and it looks great. Plus you can't see inside from the outside. Awesome product.

Just pay more for larger windows to be precut to size
This is my third house using this film. Never really had any problems as the windows were much smaller and easier to apply.1: My first suggestion for those not getting it to stick correctly is to roll out it on a flat surface and leave it like that overnight or longer to make the film easier to work with. You cant expect it to adhere as easily if its straight off the roll.2: Keep spraying water.3: I have also learned to never remove it later thinking you can use it again. It is a one a done after it is up. Once that protective film is off to cling, it creases and wrinkles easily.4: Educate yourself on window tint and how it works for daylight to not see in but not at night. If you want black out for nights you are going to pay big bucks for that and not going to have much of a view during the day to see out. Common sense.Like someone else said visible streaks and imperfections are terrible especially for larger windows it creases or wrinkles too easily. I am going to keep trying and may alter my review for the larger rolls but as of right now I wasted money. the two windows I put up, one looks like it has bubbles and hairs all over (creases or crinkles) from the outside and just looks like junk.

Nice
This stuff is pretty nice. It's nice and thick and goes on easily. I like the privacy aspect so I can have my door open and not have to worry about people seeing in. Although it doesn't work after the sun goes down if you have any sort or light on in the house. I have had issue of some pieces falling off or forming bubbles in it afterwards. It could be(most likely) user error.
