I replaced the battery and it was easy and tools that came with the package helps in this process. I said it works too well.. now my wife is shopping longer on the web..

I did a lot of research to make sure this battery would work in my Dell. Battery arrived on time, wasn't swollen as some other reviewers mentioned, and install was quick and painless. I'd recommend moving slow taking apart your laptop to not break the tabs that hold the bottom cover. After removing all screws, I worked the edges and eventually it came loose. After that, there were two additional screws holding the battery in place. Disconnecting the old battery took a second, but wasn't bad at all (was just being careful to not damange the connector). New battery matched up perfectly, and the computer seems to be running fine without issue. I don't usually use it only on battery, mainly connected to the wall, but my previous was so bad the computer was alerting me to replace, and the old one was swollen (found that out later). I would recommend this as a replacement, but can't speak to the life of it when not connected to outlet. Make sure you do your research to ensure it's compatible. I took apart my computer to check specs to be as close to 100% sure this would work as i could. I have a Dell Inspiron 15 5578 2in1

After several months the battery life went down to 3 hours without plugging in (even less with games or programs running) It's just what I was expecting though so I'm not too upset. It does work and makes my computer not boil up like my first one. If you just surf the internet or do simple tasks, it's great.

I bought a Dell laptop for about $1400 in 2018 or 2019. I got an error saying that the battery would no longer support the system. This is understandable because batteries don’t last forever. Dell wanted to charge me $69.99 for one of their Dell replacement batteries then charge about $125-145 for them to come to my house to replace the battery (I learned that there were no Dell service centers, so the options are a house call or ship it to Dell.) I did not want to ship it to Dell for repair because once it left there would be no telling how long it would take for my laptop to be returned or whether it would ever be returned. I wasn’t gonna pay that ridiculous amount for a battery change either. I bought this battery, took my laptop to Best Buy’s Geek Squad and it was done before I was done walking around the store. It works great and the error message is gone. Save yourself some time and money.

Not a good battery life

I received the battery and it was very easy to install and charged up nicely solving the issue with my laptop. Packaging and shipping met or exceeded expectations with packaging being very protective of the battery.

As long as you know how to open your laptop and remove OEM battery. It's easy to install with the new battery!
