Good quality for the price.
Sharp out of the package and feels sturdy, not flimsy.

Crazy sharp knife
Razor sharp is no exaggeration! We even cut our hands accidentally pressing on the non serrated top edge of the knife and I have taken a stone to those edges so as to not injure ourselves further. Great balance, excellent construction and top grade handle and materials. I'm sure this will become a permanent addition to our knife collection and feels like it will last forever.

Heavy duty feeling- but NOT knife shown in first image labeled Statement
Heavy duty feeling- but NOT knife shown in first image with the straight edge tip labeled "Statement" which I wanted to slice thru tough materials. It actually looks like the other 3-4 Statement pictures where the point curves into a "cone" so you have to raise the back of the knife to use the point. It is thick and heavy though- seems sharp and is made in China, not Germany like the set I already own. However my German set is thinner and lighter- don't feel as solid as this China knife. *Just FYI- any knifes with "one little guy" on the icon is made in China. The more expensive German made knifes have "two little guys" on the logo. I assume the German ones will outlast the cheaper Chinese ones but who knows. Henckel/Zwilling are related but not same line of knifes so be careful.

Nearly perfect
This is a very well made knife and one of the sharpest I own. It slices through any tomato or onion with ease. No concerns about the skin being hard to get through. Unfortunately, it is serrated on one side only which means it has a tendency not to cut straight. I still gave it 5 stars because it is a pleasure to use.

Perfect for tomatoes only!
Unless you are continually sharpening your knives, this knife is a good addition to your tools. If you keep your chefs knife sharp, you do not need it. It is only good for slicing large tomatoes, It is heavy, awkward and uncomfortable for any other task. But it does a good job on tomatoes. The teeth grab the skin and it is possible to get thin slices for a sandwich or confortable size chunks for a salad. It does not cost much, so it is probably worth it if you do these actions frequently.

Quality, expected sharpness.
I had an expecting for sharp, high quality , as advertised. The knifes not sharp which impacted the quality. I will probably not be using for long. It answers my question of whether I should go back to Cutco. So the only recommendation I have is whether you need some type of knife which cut somethingTender, Not bread or tomato.
