Quite strong, only a small amount of powder required
Purchased following the 5-star review by another who had purchased three different types of cocoa powder makes, who suggested this was the highest quality. Cocoa powder flavouring is good, if not very strong, so only a very small amount (probably a teaspoon or less) required when making a large vegan hot chocolate.Cost effectiveness versus other cocoa powders is unknown, but it's very cost effective versus "pre-made" hot chocolate sachets sold in the store, especially given only a very small amount of powder is required, and quite a lot comes in a bag. Preparation isn't too complex either, you just need to include sugar.Vegan recipe for mocha-style hot chocolate:In the cup:1) Put in less than a teaspoon's worth of decaf coffee2) Put in roughly a teaspoon's worth of cocoa powder3) Add 1 to 2 teaspoon's worth of brown sugar (raw sugar cane)4) To about less than halfway, add boiling water and stir to fully dissolve contents5) Fill to top with either hazelnut (recommended) or almond milk. Soya milk can work, but hazelnut and almond complement the flavouring far betterTest flavouring. For the next time:If too sweet, add less sugar. If too bitter, add less cocoa powder. If chocolately but unsweet, add more sugar. If coffee taste is strong or overpowering, add less coffee beans. If bland or watery, either add less boiling water, or add more cocoa or coffee beans. If too nutty, reduce milk and add more boiling water. If boiling water had been previously reduced due to lack of flavour, add more coffee beans/cocoa.You should eventually find the mixture ratio that is calibrated to your preferred tastes.

Great taste & consistency but you do need a lot to get those flavonoids
This really does have a great rich taste & even with just water mixes to a smooth creamy consistency so as cocoa powder goes I would rate it highly & would definitely buy again. You do need a lot to get the optimum amount of flavonoids though, a serving is 20g which I weighed out & it was about two & a half tablespoons so you won’t benefit from a couple of teaspoons & I wonder how much cooking with it would destroy some of those flavonoids so maybe something to think about if you’re looking for more than just great tasting cocoa.I really love it & could easily use that amount daily but then a pack lasts slightly under two weeks so expensive, I think it’s probably worth it if it does contain the amount of flavonoids stated.

Not high in flavinoids despite the 'super-cocao' name
I decided to buy Cocao powder in an effort to cut my choc-cravings in the evenings and also to benefit from the high flavinoids that are present in Cocao and Cocoa. I understand that Cocao is the least processed and has highest concentration of flavinoids. So 'Super-Cocao' would at first glance would fit the bill. However it contains 200mg flavinoids in 20gms of powder. This is only 10%. other brands (includig hershys cocoa) have roughly 4 times that amount for same volume. For this reason I marked it down. As far as taste and quality go this is actually a good product. But I need to use 20gm a day to get the reccomended 200mg dosage and this is a lot when you measure it out and far too much for my planned evening cup of cocao.
