This is a closed cell wetsuit and its fantastic for the price. I went for a swim yesterday and kept nearly dry for the most part while in cold New England waters. That being said, this suit is challenging to get on. I am 6ft 210lbs and the large was way too tight, I didn't even try to put on the top part. I ordered an XL and although tight around the armpits mostly, it was quite comfortable in the water. I was also in the water with nothing covering my feet besides my fins, this is a very warm suit and so far I love it.

Being new to the sport I already had lots to buy and the value seemed good. It kept me warm in the ocean and did the job. 5’9 175lbs with wide shoulders and it fits me well. Sleeves have a little extra length so it’s not a tight fit at the cuff but tight starting a couple inches up and maybe gloves would sort that out.Great starter that could someday turn into a guest wetsuit.

Top to small would not just replace top not happy

So far so good the biggest thing I wanted to bring up is the fit I bought a large I am 6 foot 165 pounds and this thing was tight the length was perfect but until it gets broken in you might want to have somebody there to pull you out of it otherwise you will look like one of those inflatable tube guys and when your significant other finds you they won’t be much help cause the will be laughing to hard. The material feels like high quality stuff only reason it’s got 4 stars right now is that I haven’t gotten in the water with it yet but I will be updating it as soon as I get a chance to try it out and if I survive the removal of it if not updated in 3 months please send help

Haven't used in the in water yet, but I'm already impressed by the quality for the price. No defects I've noticed, good seams and all around quality.I'm 6'1" 175lb, the XXL was the right choice, although the shoulder area is a bit large for me.Only thing I'm missing is zippers to make getting my feet in easier.

When I ordered this, they gave the details on how to properly order the correct size. However, buyer beware. I’m 5’-10” and 185 lbs and ordered the XXL based upon their sizing chart. It’s way too tight. I should’ve ordered the triple extra large. (XXXL). Based upon their sizing chart, I should’ve ordered either the extra-large or the double extra-large, so I ordered the double extra large, because I wanted some extra room. Extremely difficult to get in and out at way too tight.

5’11’’ 190lbs ordered a XXL and it fits great.This is the first time I have gotten a farmer John style wetsuit, I will admit that there is going to a learning curve to getting in and out of the hoodie. Once I got the wetsuit on it fit great. I’m looking forward to diving in it. The wetsuit is very comfortable, not too tight anywhere and perfect length for me. I do feel like the top of the bottoms is going to tear from getting my shoulders in and out of the suit and the edge of the hood around my face isn’t going to do that well without stitching. Aside from those two things I feel that this is a great value for the price.
