a decent like for like
my original Sony remote started to get worn &slow on touch,was hard to find a original like for like so opted for a cheaper imitation,not good 1st impression as found it hard to open to get batteries in,came with instructions to sync voice control which after a few attempts did eventually work.only function on remote that doesn't work from the original remote is the app function,but hardly used that before&you can bring up the apps on main screen,so no big deal,minor quibble.rest of functions are ok&apart from no sony logo is almost identical from original remote,so a fairly good replacement.

An almost like-for-like replacement of the original Sony remote
The quality is very good, it doesn't feel or look cheap (although it is cheap compared to the original Sony model). It works straight out of the box (once a battery has been fitted), no need to sync or pair with your TV.The only issue I had was that the Apps button didn't work however a workaround is to get to the Apps screen from the Home screen. I did inadvertently buy another Sony replacement remote and the Apps button on that didn't work either.Overall, a great replacement remote control.

Breaks easily
This is the third remote I have ordered in the last year all three have broke. Not good quality. Should be able to return this item but unfortunately it says no longer eligibleFor a refund

Does what it says….
Seems to do the job. All buttons function doing what they’re supposed to do. Out the packet, batteries in and you’re up and running. To note - the back of the remote is very very difficult to remove to be careful.

Good replacement for the original
i bought this remote control for my tv as my original one seemed quite unresponsive. probably because its been dropped a few times. This remote is virtually identical to the original apart from the Sony logo which of course it doesn't have but works exactly the same. It was easy to marry up to the tv and had inst;ructions on how to set up the voice control too. Really simple. So very pleased with the purchase.
