This is just fun for my young daughter and her friends. They all have one, and they pass the books to each other, and then send a new message the following day. We have almost filled the book already since Christmas, ans are on the second one now. You have been warned :)

Gave five of these out at Christmas to my grandchildren ages 6 through 8. The book is well-made the invisible ink/pen works perfectly and the whole “lock up your diary “ concept was intriguing to them. However, at this young age with no real exposure to Harry Potter, and not much in the way of writing skills nor journaling, I think this is a gift suitable for a much older child who is much more into Harry Potter.
