A tad heavy for what it is, however very well made and works well, description says it goes up to 1 inch I actually opened it out and had it on one inch pipe no problem steel pipe which is approximately an inch and 3/8 nice small design easy to use easily adjustable

DIYer - had this and the 18" ridgid together, duratech worked just fine as a pipe wrench should. Light weight compared to ridgid was hard to argue with. Wont give as much torque as the heavier ridgid, but for the small repair on a water heater it was more than enough.

They work fantastic for the price. They feel like ur average harbor freight tool. Good quality for pretty much all work. Would probably take dropping off the Empire State Building to break.

These are really light weight, but strong. Used them to build black pipe furniture, and they grip amazingly well.

I purchased this to remove a gas cylinder from an office chair, and it made short work of the task. So i guess I own a pipe wrench now. It's super heavy duty, easy to adjust, and feels good in the hands. The teeth are very sharp and grip really nicely.

Exactly what we needed to get into the hard to reach spots with a standard pipe wrench! For an off brand I have been very happy with the sturdy design and functionally of the wrench, as well as my coworker who wanted one as well. A definite must for anyone in a heavy maintenance field.

The pipe wrench works as advertised. It will open to the circumference of most bolts, however, once you start to adjust the neck of the wrench to the size of the bolt. You can tell that the wrench has play in between the sizing bolt on the wrench itself. You have to remove the wrench and adjust it then replace it on the bolt. Even after sizing the wrench to the bolt, there is play in between. It's not the tool I would want if I was a professional plummber, but around the house it should fit your needs.
