The main thing to keep in mind about this doorbell is that it is not weatherproof so it can only be fitted inside buildings.The doorbell works well, it can detect movement and then a notification is received on the phone when that happens.When someone rings the doorbell, the notification on the phone will be almost like receiving a call, and when I answer I will connect to the doorbell and be able to speak through the doorbell to anyone standing outside my door. This is incredibly convenient when receiving letters and parcels as I can straight away direct them to my safe place.The doorbell comes with a chimi which is meant to be set up inside the property and when the doorbell is pressed, the chimi will produce a ringtone just like any old-fashion doorbell.The image quality is very good both day and night so no complaints there either.It is a good doorbell, which comes with all the fittings necessary for the setup which poses no problems at all.

No operating instructions were included. Instead, all the included paperwork said was to read the [not included] instruction manual. Consequently, I found what was supposed to be the instruction manual for this model on the EZVIZ website, selected 'English', but everything was in Chinese! Sent it back.

Image quality is crisp, and the wide-angle view catches everything.Battery life is impressive - I'm not constantly recharging. The free chime is a nice bonus, and I love being able to choose from 20 ringtones. Two-way talk works well, and the voice changer is a fun (and sometimes useful) feature.Setup was straightforward with 2.4GHz WiFi. The human detection is pretty accurate, cutting down on false alerts. Night vision is clear enough to see visitors clearly after dark.The no-monthly-fee local storage option is great for saving money long-term. Just remember to factor in an SD card if you go that route.Only real downside is it's not waterproof, so stick to indoor use only. Overall, it's a feature-packed, apartment-friendly doorbell that gives peace of mind without breaking the bank.

This video door bell is not for use outside as it is not waterproof its ideal,for use outside of a flat or apartment only which I find very disappointing as it limits its use. It was easy to install and connect to the app the images are good and the doorbell has 20 different tones you can add a micro sd card upto 512gb which means no yearly fee to store your images which is good. I found that if I wanted to delete images from the micro sd card I had to format the sd card which means all images are lost. Battery life seems om been up,a month and only used 25% of battery life
