Beauty Without Cruelty Ultimate Natural Mascara Black

This is a pretty good mascara for the price, and nice to know it's not tested on animals, nor does it contain animal products. The colour is a proper black and is great if you like the feline eye make up style as it is quite a good brush for lifting and seperating the lashes. Every mascara needs a comb after you've put it on and of course it's always an idea to wipe any mascara wand on a tissue every now and then to stop clumpy bits of mascara forming.The mascara is long lasting and I found it fine for my sensitive skin and eyes. It is easy to remove with an ordinary cleanser. So I would definitely buy this again. I wanted a natural looking, glossy mascara to replace my Dr Hauska Natural mascara but this one isn't so glossy or conditioning as a more expensive mascara, but for the price it's really good and a lot more glamorous than the Dr H mascara I used to use. This mascara can be built up with a second coat in the evenings and combed through again for a more dramatic look. I found it didn't smudge until really late in the evening and even then it wasn't as bad as more expensive brands for smudging.

Very disappointed in this product, it was dry and flaky. I wasn’t convinced that there was any mascara in there! I did manage to get some out but then it flaked terribly all over my face and into my eyes!I love other BWC products but this mascara was a let down!

I use this mascara because I using products with noxious chemicals on my skin - and in this case lashes. This mascara will not thicken your lashes, just coat them nicely, but I use Jane Iredales conditioner underneath which solves that problem nicely. I highly recommend this product.

Was hoping that I'd be able to wear mascara again, but no, my eyes still burn....

WOW such a quality product! Definitely one of my favourite brands of cosmetics - and 100% cruelty-free so can look good with a clear conscience x
